Oregon's Forest Protection Laws

This class will make it easy to see how Oregon’s Forest Protection Laws affect you. In 2018 the Oregon Forest Resources Institute released the third edition of Oregon Forest Protection Laws: An Illustrated Manual. The update was due to changes in the Oregon Forest Practice Act and Rules including the addition of Type SSBT streams and associated riparian rules, changing of the Industrial Fire Precaution Level requirements, delisting of the bald eagle, development of the E-Notification system, and other minor changes from past issues. This class will update you on the laws, discuss the changes in the book, and generally orient you to the rules.
