Statewide Partnerships

Oregon State University is an integral partner in Oregon's comprehensive Farm to School program. Here's how we do it:

• Co-convene statewide leadership to catalyze procurement, strategic planning, coordinated communication, research, and evaluation
• Support existing OSU staff and faculty who work in areas related to farm to school to better understand community-based needs and leverage the brain trust and resources of the university to meet those needs
• Use the train the trainer model to increase Extension faculty and staff knowledge and skills and to disseminate research-backed best practices and materials
• Align training and technical assistance within OSU and among community partners to support statewide Farm to School priorities such as education and procurement hubs, and online programming
• Champion equity, diversity and inclusion in Farm to School in Oregon.
