Seeds & Soils

Seeds & Soils is a two-part, in-class presentation for 4th grade students in Wasco County. First, students examine the parts of seeds, and what seeds need in order to germinate by planting their very own seeds to observe. In the second presentation, the class participates in soil testing and explores the amazing science of organic and inorganic matter, microorganisms, and nutrients - a whole world that lies beneath our feet!
