The overarching goal of this all-day field trip for students from Alliance at Joseph Meek Technical High School was to explore careers in natural resources and hear from those in the field.
The OSU Extension Service Outdoor School Program, created in 2017, crafted the program’s mission and vision, which is grounded in equity, diversity, access and inclusion.
To date, 49 teens have participated in the Teen Chef classes. Sixteen have been chosen to participate in the Teens As Teachers and have taught Kids In The Kitchen lessons to 186 elementary and middle school students.
