4-H is a “learn by doing” youth educational program for five to 19-year-olds. Coos County 4-H has over 300 members. We provide many learning opportunities, including club-based learning, camps, retreats, overnight events, leadership opportunities and workshops. 

The program is coordinated by two OSU staff and many volunteers from around the county. Together we teach essential life, leadership and technical skills.

County 4-H Associations Working Session

Registration closes September 30. The County 4-H Association working sessions are designed for a team of 3 association members and 1 faculty member per county to attend. Covers roles, responsibilities and relationships as well as financial accountability for not-for-profit organizations and using the 4-H Name and Emblem. Read more...
