Seed to Supper

The Oregon State University Extension Service Master Gardener ™ Program, in partnership with the Oregon Food Bank, is proud to offer Seed to Supper in Linn and Benton Counties. Seed to Supper is a comprehensive six-week beginning gardening course that gives novice, adult gardeners the tools and confidence they need to successfully grow a portion of their own food on a limited budget.

Classes generally meet for 2 hours once a week for six weeks. At the first week's class, participants will be given a gardening booklet that is theirs to keep. At the completion of classes, participants may also be given seeds and/or plant starts to take home. Over the course of six weeks participants learn about building healthy soil; planning, planting, and caring for their garden; and harvesting and using their bounty.

Currently all classes are complete or filled. To be notified of future classes, or to learn how you can help support this program please contact Elizabeth Records.
