Douglas County 4-H and FFA youth (ages 9-19) will work with clinician and judge Justin Terry to enhance their showmanship skills prior to the Douglas County Fair.
This is a showmanship clinic to help you prepare to show your animal to the best of your ability at the Douglas County Fair.
Be sure to bring feed and a bucket for water for your animal and tools to pick up any animal waste and feed mess. You may want to bring simple grooming tools such as comb. If you are bringing beef cattle, don't forget a show stick. Show halters are helpful but not required.
Animals must be able to be led by the youth member, be fairly clean, and in good health.
LOCATION CHANGE: We will now be in the Outdoor Arena at the Fairgrounds (where the horses usually show during the fair).
