Apple peeler and corer

An apple peeler/corer is great for preparing apples for cooking or preserving quickly. It can also be used to peel and evenly slice potatoes, sweet potatoes and firm pears. Peeling and slicing these produce items is the first step in many preservation projects, including drying and canning fruit slices or sauces.
