Completing a Record Book is a great way to learn more about your project and capture all the amazing things you've done during the year. By keeping records, you will also have an advantage when applying for awards, special trips, scholarships, and 4-H leadership positions.

Every Record Book includes the 4-H Resume. Start it with your first year in regular 4-H (age 9) and add to it each year. You can choose to use the Word format, the Fillable PDF format, or print it out and write your entries.

Livestock Record Forms

The Beef, Goat, Sheep, and Swine Health Forms are for market animals attending the County and State Fair. Have them ready to present during check-in. They don't get turned in with Record Books.

For your Record Book, Livestock members should use the Animal Science Record for their age group. Use one Record for each project area. If you have breeding animals, use the production or performance record for each one. If you have market animals, use the Feed and Growth Record for each one. (The Daily Feed and Growth Record is NOT required).
